Luci.D Interiors is an innovative and creative Design Firm offering a boutique and bespoke service for residential and commercial interiors. Based in Moss Vale, in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Luci.D Interiors is ideally situated 1.5 hours south of Sydney and 1.5 hours north of Canberra providing great access to clients in these two major cities as well as clients with projects based within the local surrounding area.

Luci.D Interiors prides itself on providing a hands-on, personalised approach to every client on projects ranging from simple property styling consultation to a full design service.

Luci.D Interiors has a long-standing relationship with a select group of preferred builders, painters, carpenters and specialist contractors. This means that we guarantee the quality of work. We are also happy to work with your own preferred contractors if you wish.

The Design Service

Luci.D Interiors appreciate that all clients’ needs are different. For this reason, we are happy to work with you in the way that suits you best. We will develop a customized design service package to suit your requirements and give you an idea of what to expect from both deliverables and financial points of view.

Our design services include the following:

  • Concept development through client meetings, site visits, research and concept presentations
  • Selection of all internal paint colours and finishes
  • Selection of all cabinet finishes and door hardware
  • Selection of all floor and wall finishes
  • CAD drawings and documentation of all structural elements of the fit-out
  • 3D design development and rendering of proposed concepts
  • Spatial planning
  • Selection of all fixtures from bathroom to kitchen and everything in between
  • Liaison with all outsourced contractors and consultants such as upholstery and lighting specialists
  • Project management and site checking
  • Furniture selection and decoration including artwork and accessories
  • Preparation and styling of properties for sale, special events and photography

History

Established in March 2008, Luci.D Interiors evolved from the love, passion and experience of Founder – Luci Carney.  Having completed an Advanced Diploma of Styling and Design Co-ordination at the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney, Luci progressed to develop her innovative ideas as a freelance interior stylist with such magazines as Inside Out, Home Beautiful, Country Style and Belle. When presented with opportunities to style real interior spaces, Luci took up the challenge with enthusiasm.

Through collaborations on projects with several highly acclaimed interior design and architecture firms, Luci commenced a new career path in interior design and decoration. In this role Luci was able to have hands-on experience in the structural design and project management areas of interior design within all aspects of the industry. Her strong background in interior styling and decorating, combined with her extended knowledge and experience within the interior design industry, gives Luci a unique approach to her work that is both refreshing and seamless in its aesthetic and attention to detail.
